When this book came out in 2004, it was the first book that really told the story. Despite its age, it is really worth-while a read. Bourbon Empire by Reid Mitenbuler. Another great books that takes you through the history of American whiskey. American Whiskey, Bourbon & Rye by Clay Risen. Great book with a ton of tasting notes. Buffalo, Barrels & Bourbon by F. Paul Pacult. Good book about the history of Buffalo Trace Distillery
